Can't Recover from Tax Season

I always get the best advice when I post on here so here goes…I feel like I have not fully recovered from this past tax season. I am highly unmotivated at work and I go home just to be bombarded with wedding details from my mom and sister. I get married June 23rd. I am also trying to fit AUD into the middle of everything on June 9th. I don’t know what is causing my lack of motivation but I need to be more productive at work and get all my school audit planning done before I leave for vacation June 20th.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get my motivation back for work and studying all while planning the final details for my wedding in a month?

I tried taking BEC before I got married this February and got burnt out so I pushed it back until a week after my wedding. I took a week off studying and still somehow passed haha. I think this could be a sign that you are burnt out to be honest

Thanks for your reply @The People's Champ! I do agree with you that it could be burnout. What do you think I should do then? I want to at least try to take AUD because the exam changes after June. It's just hard juggling everything.

I was the same way. After this tax season I had a hard time getting back into studying AUD for my last score. I am back on the wagon, but it was hard at first. The simple truth is you just have to do it because if you don't, the consequences are worse than the studying.

Granted, I am not getting married so its a little easier for me.

@Abby I think you should firmly decide whether or not you have the juice to go for it. I am not sure if this is your first exam or if you've passed any or what but AUD is definitely doable in a short amount of time. This process is grueling and sometimes it's good to give yourself a little break. Maybe now is the time for that?
