My parents received a phone call on my home telephone from someone claiming to be from the CPA Board wanting to ask me about a question I answered. They gave her my cell phone number but I never received a phone call. I took BEC on the 2nd. Has anyone else had any type of experience like this?

I totally understand about not being a CPA in South FL, when I graduated, I was making good money for recent grad even without a CPA and it wasn't that big of a deal…now being in Central FL, from what I see, if you don't have a CPA, you're stuck unless you have connections or wait a very long time to move up…

I was working in the Cruise industry for about 5 years and I was already making 72K. But to be able to be more marketable, I still need to pass this exam. My friends who are certified make close to 85K with no public Accounting experience. That’s why I said earlier, there is not much competition here. I guess the hot weather makes people lazy and they don’t want to study anymore. To a Miami local a Bachelors degree is like a PHD.

You are not that far from here. After you are done with the exam, you should search some jobs at Monster. I’m not exaggerating about the salaries, and cost of living is not too high after the real estate bubble burst.

A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:
