I’m enrolled in the Accounting Ethics class at UCSD extension and I already finished the course but I don’t think my grade will be posted until the class finishes and that is on 12/4/19. Until my final grade gets posted, can I take the CA ethics exam or do I need to wait until my grade is posted before I take the exam?

No need to wait on the class, you can take it whenever. I found it harder than the CPA tests, hah. Failed the first time, but got it the second round. Make sure you read every single word in a question and also know when the question is talking about California-specific questions vs general. There is a whole sub-section in the material about California that is different than non-California.

You can take it but you will not be able to submit the final transcript to the board for license until the grade is officially posted. Trick to passing the ethics exam, is open it , print it and close it. Look up the answers, and then go back and answer it.
