    Do we really have to pay $150 to take it? ;-/

    $130 for Members

    Yes, there is no way around paying the amount. Even if you had access to the PDF of the ethics book, you still need your account in which to login and take the test. The only way to get that is by paying $150 (or $125 if a calcpa member).

    Also be prepared for one hell of a test. It's pretty brutal.

    PETH is the only exam i didnt pass in first try. Brutal

    If you have already taken Ethics in Accounting in university, do you have to take the PETH exam?

    Yes. You have to pass it to get licensed.
