Hi Community, to take my mind of the anxiety of waiting for 12/19 score release, I started to look into the educational requirements for the license application. I met the total school credit requirement but in terms of the subcategories, here are my 2 questions:

1. Can one course be used for different categories? For example, if I use Auditing for accounting core course, can I use it again for Ethics?
2. Where or with who can I verify if a course fits as an ethics course? For example, when I was graduate school, I took this class called “Strategy and Negotiation”. This is pretty much a “business leadership” course and required a bunch formal business negotiation simulations. But obviously it doesn’t sound like a leadership class.

-> I don't think so. I don't think Ethics is a great example, since CA has very specific requirements for Ethics, but using Accounting I as an example, you can't use that one course to meet requirements for Accounting-related courses and Business-related courses.

Thanks @Jombe appreciate your response. If one course can only be used once, I'm so short of ethics units. I will need to take 3 classes. Jesus…What online courses can be used as cheap alternative, if you know any? and Wow you are so close to the AICPA awards for the 95.5 avg scoring.

@puppykoala I took an online ethics class with Foothill college and it was around $150 i think and 5 credits, so maybe you'd only have to take 2 classes? I'm not quite sure how many credits you're down. I think reaching out to the CBA like @jombe mentioned is a great option as they are pretty helpful.
