hello to all fellow CPA licensee,

I am currently renewing my CPA license in California and this time I need 20 hours CPE credits. I came across this website https://www.cpaacademy.org/ offering CPE credits, anyone has experience using this website? are courses offered on this website acceptable by CA board? I asked the board, but all they are saying is ” the CBA does not pre-approve specific continuing education (CE) courses. For courses to qualify as CE, they must comply with the CBA Regulations”.

    I am confused.

any suggestion for taking CPE credits? my employer does not pay for them, so I am looking for courses with low costs. thanks for all help

CPAacademy.org offers free webinars. I've never taken one so can't say what they are like. You have to read carefully to see what each specific webinar qualifies for.
