As I have been studying, I’ve been taking copious notes… and, now, there are so many of them, I’ll probably never read them again… because tomorrow – I’ll probably be taking all new notes…

Some of them are good notes, so I dont want to chuck them all…

But anyone have a good way of managing the paper trail?

I don't really keep notes unless it's for an upcoming exam. Part of what helps me learn is to physically put it down on paper, and then rewrite the material later in my own words after I have attempted problems on it. While waiting for my REG scores I chucked my notes and I will rewrite them if I have to. Keeping old notes helps for some people, but it's not for everyone. Comes down to how you learn the material.

I have a spiral notebook, one for book notes, one for ninja notes (rewrite), and one for mcq notes, and one for calculations and formulas. A lot of notebooks but it helps when I need to go back for something or simply re-writing, none of my notes are mixed up. It helps me keep up with what's going on as well.

    It begins with a 75

I did all my notes in word (just so I could quickly search for something, and I never handwrite or sign a thing) but for my other paperwork that I want to keep copies of, I scan and use google drive (cheaper than dropbox)

i use Microsoft One Note on the computer for that exact reason- too much notes = too much paper and no way to organize it. although some people say that typing notes doesn't give that same tactile/kinesthetic learning benefits that handwriting them does.

…and depending on my next exam score release I may have to agree with them lol

I wrote everything down because it sunk in better.
Then I fully enjoyed throwing the notebooks out or burning them once I found I passed.
I had one notebook for notes and then one for MCQ's that I didn't answer properly or didn't understand. That way they weren't intermingled.
