Ok, so I’ve pretty much seen 3-5 years as the standard experience to move from staff to senior, but I was always told that having a master’s degree is the same as a year of experience (I know this isn’t true practically now that I’m in the workforce lol) but I was wondering how most firms transition from staff to senior. I know master’s degrees are becoming more and more common for CPAs as a standard to reach the licensing hours so it seems moot but I’m asking anyway 😉 Is it 3-5 with no early bumps?
