    Hello Everyone,

I have PwC superday interview coming up and was wondering if I should bring my brown leather briefcase style bag with me to carry my resume, pen, notepad in.

What are your thoughts on this?

    Thanks in advance guys!

My school would sell these professional notebooks that were specifically meant for interviews. It was almost like a small brief case that zipped open and contained blank writing paper, pens, and slots to put your resume and other papers. When I interviewed in public, there were a group of about 7 people including myself who were all there for interviews and every single one of us brought those. As long as the brief case looks professional, bring it. You can also go to your schools store where they sells books and everything and see if they sell what I mentioned above. But definitely bring something like this to the interview and bring plenty of resumes.

I used my Louis Vuitton porte-documents jour to carry my resume and such.

Bring a folder to house your resumé and a pad of paper & pen to make notes. Nothing too bulky.
The PwC issued laptop is very light and thin, so you wont be needing a brief case.

    Good luck!

@nessie did you go through the superday interviews? If so, any tips you can offer me would be appreciated. I have my superday in Stamford CT coming up soon.

I think what AnnuityDue is talking about is something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Jancosta-Business-Padfolio-Refillable-Notepads/dp/B01HBWP71Q/ref=sr_1_2?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1475683747&sr=1-2&keywords=leather+portfolio

You can get these at Walmart, Amazon, etc., as well as at many college stores. One from a college store may be embellished with a college's logo or something like that. Down the line, you may want to consider getting one with your name engraved if you end up liking it, but that's a “when I'm someone special in the future” type thing, not a “just trying to get a job” thing.

I have a leather-like portfolio (without zipper) that I got at Walmart when I was interviewing and it's worked very well for me. I take it to meetings at work frequently for note-taking and it allows me to have paper, pen, business cards, notes, etc., all handy and neat. My boss (CFO) has a zippered portfolio with his name on a little silver (or gold?) plate on the front that he uses similarly. When we have Board meetings, most people around the room – both Board members and Senior Staff – have their portfolios out, unless they're using a laptop.

I'd consider a portfolio to be an interview essential (not sure about PwC Superday, but just in general) and a career-long nicety. Whenever my Walmart portfolio wears out, I'd like to get one with my name on it, but for now the Walmart one serves nicely and after about 4 years of use shows no signs of wearing out any time soon.

Yes I did. It’s an easy day and unlike the other Big 4, PwC personnel and the company are trying to sell themselves to you. It’s not a one way street. Just be yourself and warm-up to people because it’s basically a personality test. You will hear back in a few days.

    Good luck!

@Nessie..are you in the tax group or audit?

When you say it's a personality test, is PwC looking for energetic, outgoing individuals?
