G2 pens are the best by far.

I have never had a better pen than the G2 (07 or 05 work great).

    AUD- 97 1x
    REG- 81 1x
    BEC- 79 1x
    FAR- 88 1x

    DONE!

    10/1/12 to 2/28/14

I love the Ink Joy by Paper mate.

It glides like a gel but you don't have to worry about the ink going through to the other side of the page.

    FAR 05/27/14; 786/110 - Done !

For what it's worth, the Pilot G2 is a pretty overrated pen.

I'm a big fan of the Pentel EnerGel for smooth, comfortable writing. The Uniball Signo 207 is also a highly regarded pen, as is the Uniball Jetstream. Stabilo, a German company, makes some very comfortable pens, if you like a triangular grip.

You might also consider an ergonomic pen like the Pilot Dr. Grip. It's a ballpoint, so it won't write as smoothly as gel pens, but it feels very comfortable in the hand.

Or, you could try what many pen enthusiasts would recommend, and go with a classic fountain pen.

    Good luck.

I have to give a thumbs up to this pen.

I just started using them at work and they replaced my Pilot G-2 obsession immediately. I wonder if the click version is even better.
