BEC Written Communication Problem

I was wondering if anyone else had this issue or if it was just me. When I went back to proofread and make adjustments, it would delete words if I made adjustments. This resulted in me having to cut the paragraph out to type new words and then I had to paste the remaining portion of the paragraph back in. This made it very difficult to proofread and adjust as it was a hassle to keep doing this process while making sure I wasn’t messing anything up. Anyone else face this issue?

I just got back from my exam and had this exact same problem. Some of my sentences are missing words as I did not have enough time to go back and rewrite everything. I did make a comment about the issue during the survey at the end of the test. Funny enough the same issue happened as I was proofreading my comment at the end of the test. I'm hoping my written response grade does not suffer drastically because of this.

When I took the test last year, it happened to me as well. The problem (I think) was that the person before me (accidentally or purposefully) pressed the “insert” key on the keyboard. (At least that was the problem that fixed it for me).

Hi, if someone did very well in MCQS and Simulations and bad in Written communications tasks, can pass Bec exam or not ? because I read on nasba website that the weight of written communication tasks are only 15% of the score.

Fwiw, I managed an 81 on BEC despite scoring weaker on WC on all three tries. Clearly their grading system was inadequate to appreciate my brilliant stream-of-consciousness ramblings, the ingenious departures from conventional grammar, the poetic bursts of profanity.

Mskcle, I had the same problem when I took BEC in April.
