For the BEC exam, what is the best way to study for this exam? I somewhat fell by the wayside when studying for AUD and not feeling too motivated to read for BEC. For AUD, i literally had to read and re-read the chapters in order to get an understanding. That took up a lot of time considering i work full time as an auditor and I took the exam right smack in the middle of busy season. I want to get this exam at least knocked out by the end of May, but i need some advice on the most efficient ways to study at least for 4 weeks. Do you recommend just hammering out MCQs, a bunch of them or actually reading, watching the lecture, and all that jazz that becker recommends?

I listened to the lecture and took notes simultaneously. Then did the mcq for that subsection. When I encountered a formula I would write it on a 3×5 card. I seriously had about 30-40 3×5 cards it was ridiculous lol. Did this process until I finished all of Becker. Then I hit the ninja mcq and did about 600 questions. Went back to Becker and skimmed the chapters and re-did all the mcq. Every now and then I would review the flashcards and re-write some of the ones I was struggling with. Listened to the video about the WC and read about 5-6 examples of the WC that was provided. I feel knowing the formulas really did help. Your not going to memorize every single one so don't even bother you will drive yourself crazy. During the exam even if I had partial of the formula memorized I was easily able to say, no this is definitely not the answer because I know you need this specific number for the formula. I would play around with the 2 answer choices and usually felt pretty confident in my formula answers. You still need to learn the other stuff of course 🙂
