    So I just to FAR (gag) and will be moving on to BEC as of next Monday (7/20). I am trying to gauge when to schedule the exam. I begin work at a Big 4 the first week of August and am nervous for how my studying will be altered and how to accommodate for the learning curve.

    I studied 8 weeks for FAR while working ~24 hours a week, so it is not like I studied full-time; but I will be working full-time now and doing a bit of traveling for training. Anyone have any advice on how to juggle the two and tips on how long it takes to complete BEC thoroughly? I plan to take BEC in August and am using Becker self-study.

    FAR - 76! 10/15; (65) 7/15
    BEC - 82! 11/15; (74) 8/15
    AUD - 01/16
    REG - TBA

    6 weeks MAX study for BEC. There's a lot of necessary formula and mnemonic memorization that you don't want to start forgetting before the end of your studying.

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 78
    BEC - 82
    REG - 77

    Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

    I would schedule at the very end of August. That should give you over a month of studying which should be sufficient for BEC.

    CPA (MN) officially NOW DONE AS OF 8/4/15:
    * FAR – 79 (11/2014)
    * BEC – 82 (1/2013; lapsed 2014), 71 (10/2014), 83 (7/11/15)
    * REG – 89 (11/2012; lapsed 2014), 79 (10/2014)
    * AUD – 74 (11/2013), 72 (4/2014), 89 (8/2014)

    Ethics - 91 (7/15/15)

    Used CPA Excel Silver and CPA Excel Iphone App. From 2012 to mid-2014 I was also in law school fulltime while working fulltime.
