I don't really care much about these elections anymore. Whoever gets voted in won't really make much of a difference.

The REALLY BIG CONCERN is when the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE is going to occur and who wins the CMA Awards for best Male and Female performer of the year.

You're probably right about that Skynet, but the most important concern is who is going to win the Game of Thrones?! No spoilers–haven't started the books yet. Waiting for the series to end before I read the books. 🙂

Golfball7773, I'm in SD too and the results of the national or governor races are rarely a surprise. I still vote for the candidate I think is best even when I know they will likely not win. But I made my voice heard and then just hope & pray for the best. It's like the presidential election – no one care about our measly 3 electoral votes and the generally go republican. *sigh*

Monday night when I was procrastinating studying for far, I researched the ballot. And holy cow there was allot on it! It definite took me at least 2 hours to just get thru the ballot. But voting only too about 10 min out of my drive home. Got to love that part of boring in SD!

    BEC 8.14.14 - 87!
    FAR 1.8.15 - 89!
    REG 4.15.15 - 86!
    AUD 7.2.15 - 90!

    Application submitted 8.6.15
    Licensed CPA 8.19.15

@mamabear if only they had elections for who stays and who dies on “Game of Thrones”, you'll be the first in line to vote 😛

Ha. That would be interesting. Everyone I have voted for in GOT so far is dead so I think I may be jinxing them. 🙂

Only my opinion, but if you don't have time to educate yourself on each candidate, then it's better that you just stay home anyway. Voting just to vote is silly. Even though it's their right as an American to vote, misinformed voters voting just to vote makes me cringe.

    Passed all sections.

Well, I checked it out and no candidate promised me a pass on FAR, so I stayed home…

Seriously, I used to be interested in politics. Not these days. The only thing I'm interested in, is FAR. In every extra minute I have, I study and study and study. I'm taking FAR in two weeks, I just don't have time to follow politics.

And let's face it: Those politicians aren't worth our time and interest. They are a bunch of arrogant babies.

    Anyway, back to studying.

@Rocky123 Sorry i'm responding late. Are you taking Audit next? I would focus on understanding the flow an audit, and making sure you know all the audit reports.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

The best and worst aspect of our political system is that everyone gets a vote.

And Mbear, proud of you for not making an uneducated decision.

I've already taken AUD. It was my first exam. If I don't pass FAR on this retake, I lose credit for AUD. I planned it that way, knowing AUD is my easist section. If I had to retake an exam, I did NOT want it to be FAR!!!!

    REG-PASS
