AnonymousInactiveBaxterCPA, as I may not be “around” the next few days, I wanted to chime in and say good luck! I know you can finish this, and FAR will be finally be defeated! Look forward to hearing how it went, and seeing your passing score. You deserve this, go finish this.

AmayMemberYou can do it! HUGE INSPIRATION!!! 🙂
BEC: 73, 81
AUD: 85
FAR: 71, 77
REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

AnonymousInactiveHas anyone ever died from test anxiety??? I may be the first. I just took a 35 MCQ test and got a friggin' 38%. (Calculations only on the quiz.) On most all questions I knew the correct answer but talked myself out it….usually thinking to myself “that's too easy”. I don't know what I am going to do??? I feel good about the material but am evidently awful at taking the actual exams. If anxiety doesn't kill me… Humiliation will! 🙁

AnonymousInactiveGood Luck, Baxter! You'll do great on exam day!
I know exactly what you mean, I do the exact same thing on MCQs (killed me for aud). I can usually narrow it down to 2 answers but then I go nah, this answer cannot be right, it's too easy, so I pick the wrong one in the end. I hate standardized tests. If you find yourself doing that on exam day, Stick to your first pick!!
I was reading earlier on somebody's exam experience…had to make up lost time on testlets 1 and 2, so for the 3rd, just picked the first one that seemed right, without over thinking it and they Passed.
Just leave it alone 🙂
And do not start putting negative thoughts into your head a few days before the test. This will hurt you. You've been thru the material, did the work, you Know you can do it and that's it.

you got 38% on wiley, not the actual exam. its good to make mistakes now so u don't do it on exam day and also you just learned more info and are more prepared
i changed my mind, u will get an 81 on this exam and this is why. for BEC and AUD your last 2 scores were 74 and 84. your last 2 scores for REG and FAR will be 63 and 81
the stars are aligned and you're destined to pass this one!
now stop doubting yourself like your soft…get in there and fight like hell!!!!!!!
REG-65,71,74,73,70,74,79
BEC-60's,60's,69,71,76*,78
FAR-67,66,65,79

AnonymousInactiveNoLife: I love patterns but didn't catch that one!! An 81 would be a perfect finish for me!! 10 point combo gave me 18 points for REG…it WILL give me 18 points for FAR!!
I feel like I have the theory down but the calcs are what get me. It's what I call the “unicorn dust” principle. Someone posted it on the forum a few days ago.
..
“Solve for X…WRONG you forgot to apply the unicorn dust: Solve for N… WRONG you forgot to say abracadabra”
I don't remember who posted that so I can't give credit but it is amazingly true on the calcs!!!
