I don't listen to music when I'm studying but when I find myself slipping away I put “Rise up!” On infinite loop .. It has a Christian edge but for me it is a battle cry!! I posted it on page two of this thread. It's not for everyone but it saves me Everytime!

Well, there is FINALLY good news at Baxter's house. ILBOE granted the AUD extension through November 30. I was able to reschedule FAR for Nov 14th and since I am still outside the 5 day window…the fees were $35 as opposed to $89. I was so happy to get that email this afternoon.

My favorite sister is coming for surgery week and will be here this weekend. So now I can clean my house, get my class assignments for this week turned in and relax before the slice and dice. (We may have to drive over to the river boat for a little fun also.) I will be studying every day too…this chance will not be wasted!. It's GO time!!!

I also landed a new job on campus with a start date of “whenever I am ready to come back to work after surgery”. My tentative date is Nov 18 which is why I scheduled FAR for the 14th. My new boss will be a CPA, MPA and I am excited about that professional relationship.

So things are looking up for the little cat..who evidently has at least ONE life left… =)
