Sorry I gave away Baxters gender! My bad! And an extension for medical reasons is NOT cheating the system. They are allowed for a reason; sometimes bad things happen to good people! Just read your post….Sorry I missed it. Congrats on the extension, keep going :-))

I am struggling to get out of a funk. I have been dragging to study because I am trying to make work decisions but technically I need to pass the exam before I try and find an accounting job. Yes, I am at the point of looking for a job. I have had my own business for over 17 years and I am running dry out of money. So I am trying to figure out what approach to take. I have raised four children, 3 in college and 1 a senior in high school and really hate to look for a job now. I guess my heart is broken but I don't know how to hold on until tax season. So studying is my get a way from my financial difficulties.

So enough feeling sorry for myself…..I am nailing my chapters (using the videos only for clarity), listening to ninja audio, have almost finished writing ninja notes. I am plugging away. I plan to take FAR the end of October and REG the end of Nov. I am determined to pass. I feel like it's going slow, but I think I have plenty of time if I manage it well.

Don't give up, Tncincy! It's hard to let go of something and start something new. I can't even imagine three kids in college at once so that is amazing right there! Baxter, since the 18 month rule is an administrative rule, I have no authority to extend the time. I will, however send your appeal to the Candidacy Committee for their review and determination. Typically, if the appeal is granted, the extension will be through the window or until the end of November in your case. That is not to say the Committee will approve the appeal, but to let you know how long an extension would be if they do.

Well, today is the day that Baxter gave up! I've got a bitch of a sinus infection on top of everything else and it's the proverbial last straw. I'm just one little cat. I will see y'all in Jan/Feb when I am healed and feeling human again.
