    Hi everyone,
I recently passed all my exams, and I’m a little bit stuck on how to get my 150. I graduated from a CUNY with 124 credits, if I added it correctly I believe I have 31 accounting credits, and all of my 36 business credits. I am considering taking the LSU classes but I am not so sure how to go about this process. Does anyone who is a CUNY alum have any tips or advice on how to get the remaining credits? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

They allowed you to sit for the exam without 150 credit units? In cali it's a must to have 150 credit units before sitting for the exam. I'm from Cali and I'm not sure if my information will help you, but they offer extension programs that should help you hit all the required courses. The whole extension program in Cali range from 3 to 7 grand. I did not graduate with an accounting degree, so I just ended up getting a Masters in Accounting before I sat for the exam.

I went back to a CUNY school to get my accounting credits in order to get the 150 requirement. I emailed someone from NASBA beforehand to make sure I was taking the right courses and had enough credits to qualify for the exam and my license. His name it Tomu Itoh, titoh@nasba.org. He may be able to answer whatever questions you have about getting to the 150. He was very helpful and responded quick.

NY allows you to sit for the exam if you have a bachelor degree and completed a class on each subject (financial reporting, cost accounting, taxation and auditing).

Yes like re2pect mentioned, you can take classes at any accredited college but you have to take the required core per the NYS (you can email them and double check what classes you should take). You can also refer to the NYS board website where it shows you the 150 path. I hope this helps.
