Taking AUD for the 3rd time Jan 6th. Got a 65 after 2 weeks of studying and then a 73 in Q4. Any tips? My score report said comparable in MCQ and weaker in simulations. Currently using Becker.

I definitely recommend taking a look at the AICPA sample exam for AUD..the sims on there are very similar to the Exam Day sims. I worked a sim on the sample exam, and on exam day I had the same question, just with different numbers.

Becker sims are a poor representation of the exam. However Becker MCQ are spot on, sometimes even harder than the actual exam. Audit is 100% conceptual, really wouldn't hurt reading over the whole book if you have the time. Once you know the concept, you can solve it whether its MCQ or sim.

I agree with Riyaad. Example, if the sample sim was asking me to do a,b,c then the actual sim on test asked me to do a,b,c,d,e,f …basically an extension of sample. So if you understand the AICPA sample sims and can get yourself to “explore it further” I think you should be good.
