Took AUD today and hoping for the best. The exam took me the majority of the allowed time as I was pretty adamant about reviewing all of my answers.

The first testlet wasn’t too bad (flagged 5 items). The 2nd testlet was much more difficult and I flagged probably 9-10 items. I will say that all of the ones I flagged were narrowed down to 2 answer choices so that is promising.

The sims were pretty tough. I feel like I did ok on them, but am super pissed about the research one. I ran out of time on it and know I didn’t get it right. I think I did at least get the source right. Is partial credit a thing on the research sims?

With the new exam format, who knows how I did. Anyone have a similar experience in this window?

I took AUD this morning and I had a very similar experience with my MCQs as you did – so I felt very good about that! Then the SIMS hit. The first one I opened up I had no clue how to do. I haven't studied FAR yet, but I think it came straight from that material, which made me angry. The rest of the SIMS went okay I think, but the last one had SO MUCH additional information that I needed to look at that I couldn't keep it straight or even remember what I had just read while clicking through all the different resources. As far as the research question, I'm not sure if they give partial credit or not. I have always thought it was all or nothing for some reason, but I can definitely see how they would be able to give partial credit.

Hoping for a pass for both of us come August 🙂
