So I have not been studying FAR. Literally did not even pick up the book yet. I passed REG, AUD, and BEC so FAR is my last exam. My BEC will expire October 31st and I am signed up to take FAR for the first time in 10 days. Should I even bother starting to study? Should I take the exam in 10 days or just push it to October? Any thoughts would help.

    Many Thanks,

    Jay

    BEC 3x 77 expires 1.30.16
    AUD 2x 80 expires 10.31.15
    REG 2x 86 expires 2.28.16
    FAR... 7-15 .. 48* .. 77
    * Did Not study at all

Push it back. There is too much info to only study for 10 days.

    FAR - 08/30/15 - 90
    AUD - 11/12/15 - 92
    REG - 01/19/16 - 82
    BEC - 02/29/16 - 83

Passed all on 1st attempt using GLEIM (full program) and NINJA (MCQ only)!!!

I say, if you got the money, study your butt off for the next few weeks and go for the hail marry. If you don't pass, you can take September to study, and take it again in October! Remember, you can only take a test once a grading period. If you don't have the resources to take it twice, definitely wait until the last part of October to make sure you have the material down. Just my thoughts, I'm a risk taker though.

I'm with Mustang. I have FAR left too (3 testing windows to pass before I lose AUD). I have studied for FAR this month only and am going to give it a go Aug 31. It's $225. If I get lucky and pass, IM DONE FOREVER. Reward for me far outweighs the risk. If not, whatever, i'll just continue to study my butt off for a couple more months and hopefully pass it in October/November. If I fail that one, welp, I better pass it the next time! haha. If you can afford it, I say why not. 10 days is a tall task though. There's a lot of info in FAR, but hey, if you can afford it, why not just get a feel for what the FAR test is like and hope to complete that hail marry!

    AUD (PASSED) - 56, 91
    BEC (PASSED) - 80
    REG (PASSED) - 68, 74, 77
    FAR (PASSED) - 78

I am in the same exact boat. Started studying 2 weeks ago. So screwed…..

The sheer amount of material that is covered in this section is just daunting.

I say you go for it. Don't lose a window. Best of luck.

FAR is my last one as well… assuming that I passed AUD, which I won't know for another 10 days, ugh.

Anyway, for all of us in this thread that have this as our last test, I'm sure we're all feeling the same in that we are just DONE with all of it. I'm so over studying every weekend. It just needs to be over.

If it were me, I would be realistic with myself… do you think you can actually pass if you go at it hard for 10 days? Because if you don't think that's possible, what's the point? It seems more logical to push it back and give yourself more time to prepare so that you pass it without BEC expiring. But then, I guess if you have the resources, like others have said, maybe it's worth it to try. You can always take it one more time in October.

Personally, mine is scheduled in October, and I'm on F4 right now. I'm not f*&#ing this up, because I do not feel like studying for any of these tests twice; not to mention that I don't have the resources to be dropping $200 on these tests all the time. I know myself and I know that by October 16th, I will be as ready as I can be. That's just me being honest with myself and knowing my own study habits, I dunno. :/ But I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide!

    REG - 86 (4/11/15)
    BEC - 92 (5/29/15)
    AUD - 99 (7/23/15)
    FAR - 89 (11/23/15) It's over!!!

Whatever you choose, you are really in good shape if thats the last one! Whatever you do, take care of business and make sure you pass! I am really hopping I can pass FAR on the 28th. If I do, i will only have REG left, of which I made a 74 my last attempt. I can see the light! Good luck!

there is NO WAY I could have studied ten days and passed FAR. NO WAY. You perhaps are closer to your college classes than I or have worked serious time in governmental or finance accounting. Is it possible? yeah, sure, anything is possible. But not probable.
