Seems like a weird question but I am greatly affected by very cold rooms, are prometric rooms extremely air conditioned.. should I prepare with a really warm sweater ? I am in NYC, so wondering specifically for those testing rooms.

YMMV. Depends on what center because all centers are kind of different. You don't have much to loss if you bring it because you can always stuff it into the lockers if you find out it isn't cold.

I was always super anal and worried about this too. I can barely remember the temperature of the room, but I tested from October-March for my last 3 and I wore sweats and a thin long sleeved shirt for all 3 and was comfortable, plus always ended up rolling my sleeves up. Given that I'm taking my last part in August, I can't really imagine wearing anything other than a T-shirt and shorts

I usually wear a thin sweater over a short sleeve shirt, just in case. My center always tells me I can take the sweater off & hang it on the back of my chair if I need to. I don't think I've ever needed to take it off.

I think this varies from center to center. For example, the center I go to is always really warm. I wear a t-shirt at the center, even in the dead of winter. However, it wouldn't hurt to bring a sweater just in case you're cold – you can always take it off! Good luck.

The reason those rooms are cold is due to Jeff's Astral Projection as he travels from Prometric center to Prometric center checking upon his A71 Ninjas and bring good Vibes on Exam Day : )

I know this because I saw his KC Royal's hat.

I took my tests in Manhattan and Queens in spring and summer. It wasn't particularly cold really but wasn't warm either. I brought a hoodie with me and was fine. Definitely bring a hoodie. Don't go in just a t-shirt.

Yes, I find them to be cold. I always wear pants that covers my ankles, either long sleeves or bring a sweater. I've always asked them to let me feel the temp in the room as they tell you, if you bring the sweater in, it should be worn or on the back of the chair. I'd rather not waste time taking off the sweater or putting it on.
