    Hi all,
was wondering if anyone know of anyone working for the FBI in the white collar crime division can provide me some advice? Im planning to make a switch out of public and hoping to work for the FBI. I have my CPA but have no forensic accounting experience, aside from planning to sit for CFE what else could i do to boost my chances? If anyone knows, is it really like how the Tv show White collar portrays lol.

I'm pretty sure like anywhere else they will train you how they want you to work. Almost positive you have to be at Quantico for 6 months.

Thanks for the response. Yea, I saw one of the requirement was training there. The position I saw was under Special Agent, but I dont know if being a forensic accountant is treated the same as a special agent? Like carrying a firearm etc? apologize for my ignorance.

I'm curious about this.. where do you apply for a job like this? An employee at an old internship said he was approached by someone for a forensic accountant position.

The FBI does the majority of their hiring on the website http://www.fbijobs.gov. There is not any magic formula to it or special handshake required.

    AUD - Passed
    BEC - Passed
FAR - Passed (Perfect Score of 75 to finish it off)
    REG - Passed

Good news! An FBI agent just shot someone at a bar after doing some flipping dance moves. His gun came loose and discharged. So…there's you're opening! GO FOR IT!!
