The day I’ve been waiting for for 2 1/2 years has finally arrived; I am submitting my paperwork to apply for my license. I have a few questions:

-When the application asks for “Date of last passing section” do they want the date you received the score or the date you took the exam (I took the exam in May, received score in June).

-If I work in industry as an analyst do you think it is fair for my company to spot me $300 to apply for my license?

-I am waiting on one of the managers at my company (again, I work in industry) to determine if my experience qualifies. I do financial analysis, forecasts and budgeting. I asked him a week ago, he said he was going to look into it. I haven’t heard from him in a week and am starting to get nervous. I am planning on following up with him tomorrow (Friday = everyone in a good mood) and am not sure what to say/do. Help?

    I’m applying in Michigan.

    I would appreciate everybody’s $.02

I would think the date of your test, but you can call NASBA to confirm.

The industry experience asks if you have experience doing a long list of items with the word “or” (not “and”), at least in my state, so I would think if you do one of those things on a regular basis, you should be okay, but again, you can call NASBA or your state licensing board to find out for sure. If you're talking to someone who determines your work experience qualifies, you can transfer the call to your boss. 🙂

    Good luck!
