So, since I am dying waiting for score release I thought I would share my last three audit scores and my score performance. Notice my 3rd attempt score and performance. All I can say is I must have really sucked on the Understanding the entity category. Anyone else have something similar?

I stopped paying attention to the score report and try to make sense of it. When I got a 73 I was weaker in 2, stronger in the rest of the MCQ section and weaker on sims. Then I got a 72 and I was comparable in 2 sections and stronger in the rest of MCQS and weaker on sims. I just gave up because they make zero sense.

The score reports compare you to how people who got between 75-80 did for that particular exam and window. It's really a snapshot of how you did that day, and reeeally not a comprehensive analysis of your overall knowledge.

True, but it blows my mind that I was stronger than those who got a 75-80 in 3 of 6 categories, comparable to those who got a 75-80 in 2 of 6 sections and weaker than those who got a 75-80 in 1 of 6 sections yet I got a 69. All I can think is I absolutely sucked on that 1 section.

I had a similar issue with my REG retake, I was stronger on MQ and comparable on SIMS and got a 69.

…like how can you be stronger and comparable and get 6 points below passing?

Don't forget that the sims, which, for that go-around, you got a weaker, too, make up 40% of the overall score. I concur with everyone else, though. The score reports are a waste of time to even think about. Just get back to studying and destroy it next time. Good luck.

Aren't the sim scores factored into the six categories? Or are the scores from the six categories reflective of your multiple choice only? I thought the six scores reflected how you did on the whole test in those areas, and then the Multiple choice and sims scores broke out how you faired per those two sections.

i always used them as a guideline, never as an absolute analysis of what you know. i wish we could see the problems we solved so we can learn the concepts behind them. i guess we will see our questions after a lengthy period of time passes as they are released to the public. i get amazed how creative they always are in phrasing the questions, especially Audit questions.
