The reason why I ask is bc everyone who already took AUD in Q1 commented how hard the SiM is, however I noticed for the vast majority of these candidates, they have not passed FAR. I’m wondering if there’s a correlation. For me, if I hadn’t taken FAR first I would’ve struggled with AUD. Did the examiner really made the exam this quarter much harder or did the candidate not understand the material conceptually.

I’m taking the exam next week and is feeling more anxious each day due to the feedbacks. I already put in 150 hours so theres not much else I can do. Scoring near a perfect score on the practice exam.

Most of them are saying harder only but not saying is what they should have done differently.

I did not pass FAR the first go round- BUT- I definitely think it helped me out that I had studied the FAR material when I sat for AUD- it really helps knowing/ being familiar with all of your different asset and liability accounts and how things flow from the ledgers / journals to statements… etc… If you are scoring well on the practice exams then sounds like you are good to go… just remember to slow down on the test and read all of the questions carefully- the one thing that I think can trip you up on AUD is not paying attention / fully understanding exactly what the question wants. When I took AUD for the first time there was a FAR related question that seemed out of no where. Maybe that's what made me fail with a 74. who knows…
