    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone is on the same path I’m about to take. I passed FAR and was planning to take AUD next but I’ve been reading about sitting for REG before December because then the tax code changes a lot. Anyone doing this or did these 2 tests in this order? Just wondering if I should stick to Roger’s recommendation for the order of taking them or I should try to tackle REG now

    Thanks!

I'm taking FAR next month followed by AUD in May. I've heard this argument for REG but if you're learning everything in REG for the first time, do the tax law changes really matter? Not really in my opinion. Now if you work with taxes full time then that would certainly matter because you could use that work knowledge to assist you in passing the exam. If you're like me, I'll be learning everything basically from the beginning so taking REG now or in 10 months doesn't matter for me.

I took FAR on 02/17 and then AUD of 03/09. I would definitely take AUD after FAR because some of the material overlaps.

I would do AUD and BEC next because you don't want to forget the FAR material before you take those.

Ive taken FAR/AUD/BEC and now preparing for REG. I think FAR overlaps a little with all the exams, but not really enough to warrant taking AUD next no matter what.

Thanks for your input guys! one of the reasons I would do it is because I have the material for 2017 from Roger…planning to get Ninja Monthly but don't really want to have a new Roger book…
