Hi All!

Has anyone taken the CAMS?

It is a one part exam and might be easy to crush.

Please advice. Also advice on best study materials.

Planning to start studying as soon as possible.

So you want to crack down on money launderers, eh?! Go work for Paypal – they need all the help they can get. People who launder on Paypal think that nobody is watching them because Paypal isn't a bank!

I used to work in the financial services industry. CAMS is absolutely nothing compared to the CPA. So why didn't I ever take it? I got way sidetracked and then changed careers.
If I ever do get back into audit, in the banking industry, I shall get the CAMS. I am friends with one of the higher-ups at ACAMS…been to many of their amazing conferences in Vegas and Florida and elsewhere. If you're looking for more letters behind your name, those would be some easy ones to get. Often times CAMS people are CFE's. Study materials – http://www.acams.org Since they give the test, they can tell you how to study for it.
