I recently passed all exams and is waiting for my congratulatory letter to begin my license application process (required by my state). I sat for the last exam on May 29, and got my score on June 9. Originally, I found that it will be sent out by July 15th on NASBA website. However, one of my friends from LA, who sat the exam in the same window as I did, told me that she got the letter just yesterday – this is a month earlier than I heard! Since the no email will be given to notify that the letter has been sent and my mail box is “kind of a mess” lately, I want to know in what approximate time frame will I get the letter? And anyone received it yet? Thanks.

The header of the letter was “CPA Examination Services”, which had a Nashville, TN address. The envelope said NASBA but I'm not sure of the postmarked address as I'm at work (but I took a picture of the letter on my phone). The last paragraph says “If you need additional assistance, please contact our Licensing Department at …” and gives both the COLORADO licensing email and phone #. I just noticed it has a footer reading “A Division of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy”.

@coloradorit That might indicate that it came from the state board. Have you start your license app process yet?

I'm in Kentucky, passed on the June 9th, letter was dated the 11th and I received it on the 15th.

Interviewed for a job at a firm on the 17th and just accepted their offer on the 23rd. THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST MONTH EVER!!!

Thank you! I'm close to my license, just need 700 more hours (4 and a half months on the job). But the worry of finding a job is gone. Everything after this is cake!

Florida doesn't send any congratulation letters….. I got my score on June 12th….FL Board still did not update their records. They are stating it sometimes takes up to 6 weeks to get all a score from NASBA…..sooo annoying!

Hey OP, I'm in LA too and I haven't received my letter either, but I have already submitted my forms to the State Board. I talked to them the other day and they said they were just waiting on my scores.

I got my letter today! Dated June 16. Yet, it does not have the ‘congratulations‘ on the envelop as said in the past discussion..

BEC - 90 (02/26/2015 - Third down!!!)
REG - 94 (05/29/2015 - Touch down!!!!!)
