The title says it all. I took the exam on December 9th and was wondering if there is anyway to tell if the AICPA received my score by the 11th at midnight so I will be available for the December 16th score release. Don’t want to worry about it if I don’t have to.

There is no way to tell as far as I am aware, but they should have received your score on the same day so you should be included in the 16th release.

I have taken the tests on the very last day of the score report window, and still gotten it on the release date. I would bet that you'll receive yours on the 16th, unless it is BEC and you end up no the bubble, then it is up in the air.

I took my BEC test on the last day of the nov. 14 testing window and I got my score on 1am at the release date. (And this was bec) so I don't think you should have a problem (I also took aud just now but it was dec. 7th so I'm sure aicpa got it)

what is the BEC “bubble” ? Is that where they hand grade your WC?

@NeedsA75. I believe if its within a certain amount of points of passing they will have real people read your written communication responses. So, to answer your question yes it is when they hand grade the WC

Do you know what score you have to receive to be on the bubble? And does it tell you that you are on the bubble when you receive your score? I'm in a non nasba state btw

@NeedsA75, I believe the score range is a 72-78. It won't tell you, and you might not even notice being in a non NASBA state. Typically, if you are on the bubble, and are in a NASBA state, if you don't receive a score at 1 am you are on the bubble. I know some people waited almost a week to find out if they passed BEC or not right before Thanksgiving.

I am not sure how it works. The only thing I understand about it is that you won't receive your score on the target release date if you are on the bubble. You usually found out about a week later or so I believe.

Holy crap, that sucks so much about the BEC bubble….and I was thinking how nice it was to have a short turnaround on the grades this testing window..
