    Out of curiosity has anyone ever heard of/known someone who tried to cheat on the CPA exam? To clarify I am not trying to find a way it could be done. Just want to know if anyone has any good stories to share about someone getting caught lol.

    Just a couple of thoughts I tried to remember as I went through the journey of passing the CPA exams:
    Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
    Philippians 4:13 "I can do all this through him who gives me strength."

    It has crossed my mind to cut off my fingerprints and sew them on another person that could pass for me when they present my ID. Only kidding. 😉

    REG - Passed
    BEC - Passed
    AUD - Passed
    FAR - Passed!!!! I have my life back.

    @nolifecpa

    I can't believe that he was caught red handed and was only banned from taking the exam for two years?! You would think that since the CPA designation places such a huge emphasis on ethics that cheating would get you banned for life (or at least more than 2 years).

    REG - 86
    FAR - 80
    BEC - 79
    AUD - 92...I'm done woohoo!

    I don't condone cheating on your boy/girl friend or wife/husband at Prometric. It just makes it awkward for CPA candidates taking their exams there.

    I don't think 2 years was enough penalty. If you get caught cheating on the exam you should get a lifetime ban. I was questioned by Prometric staff about a t-shirt I was wearing. I bought it at NASA and it had the seascape velocity formula on it.
