FAR was easy to use. The professional standards are awful.

I can’t seem to just pull a section (AR-C 80) for example and then let me search within.

Very frustrating.

i didn't find the OPL to be helpful. but hey that's just me.

you were just a google or two away, yourself. remember everything on audit and far is based on standards. you can get free access to fasb but you cannot search just navigate through standards. order the Basic View at bottom of page here:

Thanks for trying to help. I have access to the OPL, but what is the point if you can't search the professional standards.

Like why the hell do they offer it if you can't search it to find the answer to a research question.

Granted you can search it, but if I type in AR-C 80 I want the entire text to pop up after I click the link so I can then search within for the section that answers the research SIM.

Again what's the point if you can't use it to help you practice for the exam.

like i said in my post i did not find the aicpa olp helpful at all. what did help me was i printed the home page for each set of standards and referred to them as i studied so i would know what specific topics existed. the home pages also have a nice one paragraph description of each standard. use this to save time during exam. knowing what was in the standards and how to quickly get there allowed me to finish exam. i read through many of them. knowing the format used was helpful too.
