Since I’ve been studying for the CPA I’ve gained about 10 pounds. Anybody experiencing the same?

Yeah, I know we're supposed to maintain good lifestyle habits while studying but that's a lot easier said than done. I gained a few. I'm hoping now that A. the weather is turning nice again and B. I'm almost done with the exam that I'll start to lose some weight and get back into better shape.

YES! UGH! 25 pounds, I'm down 5. I have two beach-ish vacations coming up in April and no will power. I need to start wearing my fitbit. I went on a 3 mile walk at lunch. Right after I ate a chocolate bar that I bought for a fundraiser someone's kid is doing.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!

    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

I used to be 195 working out. Stopped working out and dropped down to 187….now i'm back up to 195 and it's not because i'm working out and eating great. I feel like crap. I am going to have to somehow get to the gym because I don't like this.

If you have the money get the Shaun T Focus T25 through beachbody. I just recently got it, it's only 25 minutes 5 days a week and it is a great workout. I have mo re energy and can focus more while I study.

I don't even check my weight. It is bound to increase in this situation. I have insanity and I do try to do it at least 5 days a week. It is super hard to workout though because I always I think I should be studying instead… ridiculous!

I probably lost 5 pounds but feel a lot softer. I also started drinking more, like kinda early in the afternoon due to stress. Post passing I've gained the weight back and I am drinking more at night because I don't have to study. Also post passing I changed from really cheap beer i.e. keystone to corona at a minimum.

Now I dont feel alone on this either. I just cant wait to finish the CPA to get back to my workout routine full time. I really feel fat. At least I gave up sweets for lent so that should help a little while I study for BEC. Lol. Otherwise I would be eating every junk food I find on my way. Lol

My gym time has dropped horribly and I hate it. It is the one thing that I miss the most since I started spending so much time studying in December 2014. I have to get this stupid exam behind me so I can get back in more. Plus I'd like to see the sun sometime soon.

Ugh. I'm usually very vain about my appearance, but I have totally let myself go while studying. It's such a terrible excuse. My husband has been after me to get back in the gym because it puts me in a better mood in general. I'm going to try to start on Monday morning. I had fritos and ranch dip today to help me get through studying. I've hit a new low.

Honestly guys it's about your diet with minimal exercise. At least twice a week a comment is made towards me in the office breakroom when I'm heating up my home made lunch in the microwave “oh man, you eat really healthy”. It's almost like a running joke when we travel that the others can't eat like garbage on the road because I will go somewhere to avoid eating that stuff.

Yes, the long working hours plus CPA studying cuts down on the time available to exercise however everyone has to eat and don't tell me eating non healthy garbage over pre-cooked meals for the week is more convenient than the other. I understand there are numerous other factors such as gender, genes, metabolism speeds and blah blah that affect one's weight fluctuation. Stop eating that cookie in the office or that pizza they order in the office for you to work until 11pm. Don't do it.

Not while I was studying, but definitely during the months of January – May as an auditor. Overtime meals from chic-fil-a for working long nights and no time for exercise.

@Bobcat, what do you usually cook at home? I eat fish and many kinds of seafood (except lobster), chicken combined with green leafy vegetables, fruits for the dessert. I eat a little amount of pork and beef though. Rice is always present as my side dish. I thought my kind of food is healthy in my standard.
