I was looking for ideas how I might get involved with a start up company.

I currently work auditing and am bored and burnt out by this tedious horrible job.

I am male,mid- 20s and no kids / wife, 2 years audit experience, CPA, zero debt, no car payments, no lease payments, some savings in the bank.

Start ups can be risky but now is the time to take a risk.

I thought maybe people here had ideas of how to find start ups and how I can get the founders to involve me?

Mmmm…I'd say networking. Because a stranger isn't going to want to give you a cut of their deal unless they have reason to think you're worth it, and you really don't want to invest yourself in a place and then discover that the people are intolerable to work for/with, and you end up leaving just before things start to get good!
