[Finally_a_CPA]

Ok, so I’m done with the exams and now need to meet this requirement. I tried to enroll in the Foothills course but classes were full by the time they finally received my transcript. I would just like to get this out of the way as soon as possible rather than having to wait until August to take it at my nearby CSU. Anyone know of any other community college in .CA who offers this course?

Yeah of course, UCLA Extension. Take it with Dale Wallis, CPA, if you can. He's an outstanding instructor and I kinda made friends with him. The course is 600 dollars (approximately, they raise tuition every quarter) and it's very much money well spent.

BTW – UCLA Ext is not a community college obviously but the courses are open to everyone. Pay the money and enroll in the course. You don't have to be admitted to UCLA.
Community colleges…I doubt it. The highest courses they offer are usually Intermediate Acct and Cost Acct.

Yeah, your best bet would be an extension course. UCR and etc offer them. I believe all the community colleges have started spring term already but UCR just went on spring break so their spring term is starting up in two weeks. I believe all UC's

Would you guys know if my “Acct Ethics & Prof Resp” course in grad school would satisfy the requirement? I'm assuming, yes, but I'm not sure if it's a specific course title I need.

I'd like to add that Santa Monica College offers this course. Took it this Summer, 6 week course very easy course and straight forward.

Second vote to Santa Monica College. I took it about a year ago. it was a pretty easy online class.

SMC's (Santa Monica College) courses aren't usually the best. I was not enamoured by any of the 3 or 4 that I took there during my studies. UCLA Extension or any of the UC Extension courses are more expensive but well worth it. The guy who taught our ethics class was absolutely amazing, and I'm sorta still in touch with him. But, Ethics is not anything special. It's not like you have to know it for any of the 4 exams. If you have little budget and just want to finish and be done with it and are not really concerned with learning and just want a grade, then yeah, maybe that or a similar community college is a better option.
