…besides his incessant use of his filler word, “again” — how about in F8/F9 for governmental accounting – how he keeps saying the “BAE BAE” nemonic.

it’s not that he keeps repeating the word, it’s that he pronounces it as “BAH BAH” in what world does “AE” make an “AH” sound??

“BAE BAE” sounds more like “BAY BAY” to me.

Tim needs to retire..he’s too old

I liked Michael Brown in AUD. He was a good balance between Olinto's “read this page on your own” and Gearty's “highlight the whole book” styles. He was pretty dry, sure, but I feel he did a great job actually explaining the meaning of passages he highlighted. It really irks me when Gearty highlights a whole page and repeats it verbatim. Give me some examples or elaborate on the topic some more, please.

I do like Gearty's A6 lecture so far, though. Again, he's not a bad instructor but, again, he has some certain mannerisms that you can't ignore once you pick up on them.

I actually like Tim. I like Olinto as well but if I have to hear him drink another sip of water I'm going to flip!

)))))) I have to admit that i love Gearty's lectures way more than Olinto's only because Olinto is waaay too fast for me. Gearty is a lot more in depth. I love Olinto's accent though and he is very funny “who s better than us? – NOObody!” and his constant referral to the pink dresses in REG (dumb, but actually made me laugh couple of times – maybe i was just overstudied ;-)) one thing that annoys me about Gearty is his “again” with purpose and without…

one last exam score to wait for......
    FAR - 78
    BEC - 84
    AUD - 92
    REG - 88

I'm not sure if i was just irritable from studying a little too much, but at one point I found myself unable to concentrate on the material because all of Tim's mannerisms were starting to bother me. I think the part that bothered me the worst was either when you could tell he'd been lecturing too long without a drink and his voice would just keep getting scratchier. Or when he'd be sitting there in his abnormally large suit coat trying to pitch you to buy more Becker products in the video clips after the lectures.

I really enjoyed Mike Brown's lectures. He sounds like Seth Rogan. Once I tweeted at Becker saying that and he personally thanked me from his twitter.

I feel the same..it's probably a combination of being tired and grumpy…but I can't stand Tim at this point of my review.

He's a horrible teacher…at least Peter draws T accounts and writes out calculations on the answer explanations.

Tim — he's horrible at explaining the answers to the questions:

Question: blah blah blah blah blah

    A: Answer 1

    B: Answer 2

    C: Answer 3

    D: Answer 4

“…and the answer is answer 3, so choice C”

    What?!

Well, see, choice C is the correct answer, so it's answer 3.
