@NYCaccountant- are you originally from DR? I was born there but raised in Miami 🙂

I also feel like all of you guys/girls. Nervous, stress, like I don't know the material well enough to pass… But I know I'll do fine and so will the rest of you!!!

Nerves don't kick in for me until the day of /day before the exam. But I'm constantly feeling guilty if I'm doing anything but studying, outside of work. Lately I've been slacking, but I hope it'll be easier to get back into studying next week, as that's my 6 week mark until test time. I know for sure I'll be stressing once the exam is over though!

    FAR 75
    AUD 74, 82
    REG 58, 74, 83
    BEC 68, 75
    Licensed 7.1.14!!!

NYC Acct- yes I'm pretty sure everybody goes through the same process. What's helped me is how I review my progress. I don't look at MCQ results life to date or as of that today. I look at a moving average of the last week and daily trends in the last 7 days. It requires a little Excel work because Wileys analytics suck…but it has helped me recognize progress as well as areas that are slipping over time. Whenever I start to freak out I look at the data and refocus as necessary. Of course nerves still get the best of me sometimes but this has helped tons with my ability to focus that nervous energy into something productive..

    MBA,CMA,CPA, CFF?, ABV?

I totally experience this! When I start studying a new section I always think OMG, I'm NEVER going to know all of this. I did FAR then started on BEC, which I told myself was “easy” then I got into it and it seemed pretty darn difficult… The cost accounting, ugh! Now studying REG, I feel the same sense of this is never going to happen. I'm never going to learn all of this. I'm trying to smooth over those feelings as obviously I CAN do this. Just keep pushing ahead. I go into total freak out mode as exam day nears though. Then the wait to get scores. TORTURE! I've cried for both passing scores, like I cried more about passing than I did at my own wedding or when my children were born. I think part of my tears are that, I've felt guilty about sacrificing time, activities, etc. with my kids to spend more time studying, so to know I'm making progress just feels overwhelmingly great. I got my 2 passing scores so close together, I'm having withdrawals from that sense of accomplishment.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.
