If I fail REG again, I will have failed it more than ALL other sections combined! Just venting. I don’t feel good about it. I will probably fail again.

I started this journey Sep 2012 and I was the one who started the thread “calling all multiple failures”…never, ever thinking I would be on that list.

In 4 weeks, I will never have to study for this unnecessary exam again 🙂

I do believe it can happen to almost anyone who is not a recent college graduate. The only advice I can give you is to try to get your hands on Roger's cram course. I would not advise you to get the full course since you have already covered the material multiple times. Roger is a gifted professor, and I think that is exactly what you need right now.

Do you have a particular area that you struggle with? Like basis calculations or M1 reconciles? I feel for you, each failure stings like the first. But, you are almost done and I am optimitic you will get it this time.

Last Chance CPA, you have 4 weeks left. Go for Broke during this last 4 weeks. If you are able to pass the other 3 surely you can pass REG. I know you can. You just lost confidence after 4 fails. You need to get that confidence back again. Make the most of it with Gleim. I know you said you were weak on the Sims. Work on those sims until you get sick of it. Also use the “Study Session” on your weak areas with the MCQ's. Take your time to understand the materials. You can do it.

I am in my mid-30s (37) and a non-accountant. So, while I am proud of myself for accomplishing this much, I can't bear the thought of not becoming a CPA now. I won't continue after FAR expires in July…if I fail REG x5 that is…

If I get Roger Cram, when should I start to incorporate it into the final mix? My exam is on July 11th…

Is there a way that you can take time off from work? I would say you know 70% of the material, so I would go over his cram course and take notes on the sections you are struggling the most. His cram course booklet covers a lot of information, and that should keep you busy along with ninja MC.

Thanks Martin. Will look into getting Roger Cram. Others have said good things. I am really liking Gleim right now.

I can't take time off from work, but I am working from home that final week, as I am a travelling consultant. I will study all day, all night July 3-5 Fri-Sun. And then, week of July 6-10, I will do a final review….and take Friday off. Funny thing is, I was on the bench for 6 weeks during attempt #4 and still failed!

I am last chance cpa for a reason 🙂 It will make for a great story for my kids! “CPA exam took me to the brink when I was taking the exams in the snow, with no shoes, no backpack, couldn't afford glasses for my near-nearsightedness, and I had two jobs…”

reg is 100x worse than FAR…..accounting is almost all logical…tax is never logical 😀
