Last year when I had no exams passed yet, I sent my resume to a local accounting office. They did not reply. Later I visited them in person, brought my resume and was interviewed by a partner on the spot. I was looking for unpaid internship but office did not contact me since then.
Now that I am done with all my exams and I emailed partner interviewing me a letter below. She is not responding. What does this mean? Is she not getting my emails or am I just being ignored.
As you can see from the letter, it is very polite letter and I assume a person should respond with at lest that he/she is not interested. I believe its a matter of courtesy.
I am now thinking of visiting the office and asking receptionist whether partner received my email or it was never delivered to her (spammed). Is it a good idea?
See my letter: ” Dear ***,
I hope this letter finds you well.
Last year when I was just embarking on CPA examination process, I visited your office and had honor of being interviewed by you. Back then, I did not have any exams passed and eventually did not get an opportunity to do an internship at **********.
As of today I have successfully completed all CPA exam sections and I am still interested in doing my internship under your supervision. I am a legal alien authorized to work and I am ready to commit myself on full-time basis without compensation.
Please respond to this email to let me know that my message has been received. Also please see attached screenshot from NASBA’s candidate account for proof of exam completion.
Sincerely,
