In keeping this short, I’ve been tied down with A LOT lately. Is BEC doable in 2 weeks? My total time away from home, due to work is about 35 hrs hours a week. This is because of traffic, I really only work 25 hrs/wk.

I think I can do this but do any of you have advice for this section? Any targets for total study hours? Or should I push it back and study it along with AUD?

    Using Becker self-study
    FAR: (82) 175 hours - 1st attempt
    BEC: (XX)
    AUD: (69) 45hrs of study - 1st attempt
    REG: (XX)

I have found BEC very challenging to study. I think you could get through the material once in a week and then go back again in week 2. I would push it back, but that is hard when you have a month of down time for the blackout.

It might be possible but it would be pretty tough. I was able to handle BEC in 3 weeks while studying around 4-5 hours a day.

Pushing it back may be helpful though, I found that some of the AUD material blended over into BEC (Corporate governance, some of the IT stuff) so it may not be the worst thing to study together.

    AUD - 99
    BEC - 96
    REG - 92
    FAR -

You could push it back or you could really get down to studying really hard. You cannot casually study with the time limited. If you have mcq's use those non-stop. It's doable. I have found the more we put off, the longer studying and taking these test take. With all that said, follow your gut…you know if you are discipline enough to study hard on a short time clock.

    It begins with a 75

@Spartan 3 weeks?? And you got a high score too. Wow i'm speechless! It has taking me over 2 months to go over most of the material and i still have a chapter left to go. I guess i am a slow learner. Seriously, sometimes i feel really dumb reading these posts. What the hell am i doing wrong?? I study around 3 hours M-F and the weekends 5+ hours and sometimes all day.

I'm sorry 12tang I am not trying to discourage at all, I promise. I think you should give it a try. It seems like it is doable since other people have done it. I could never seat for an exam after 3 weeks but that's just me. Take a chance and do it,let us know how it goes.Good luck studying!

@Panda Love I am the same way. I need AT LEAST 3 weeks of just reviewing the material after i've finally gotten through everything. I'm taking BEC at the end of this month and hopefully it will be the last exam I have to take. Studied 3 months for FAR and passed. Studied 3 months for REG and passed. Studied 3 months for AUD and passed. Now time for BEC. Go at your own pace and don't rush.

I studies less than 3 weeks for BEC and passed at 75. I think BEC is the only part that I could pass in a short period of time. I used Yaeger lecture and it was really helpful. I didn't do any practice questions. However, I would say it really has a luck in it too. In BEC exam, there are always questions that are probably not covered in any study material. You just have to use your common sense to answer these questions.
