Accepted and signed job offer and haven’t heard back….should I start looking?

Hi all, so a few of weeks ago, just before the holidays, I met with a recruiter to see if he knew of any opportunities. Within a week, he set up four interviews in the same week. I went to all four and I actually got a job offer from each company. After some thinking, I picked order C which was by far superior than all the others. I have also heard a lot of great things about this firm so it was a no brained. Right before Christmas, I called the recruiter and told him I would like to accept offer C. Te next day, he sent me an official offer letter for me to sign and asked about a start date. I signed and sent back right away with a start date of three weeks from that date.
The next day, I emailed the one of the partners I interviewed with (who happened to be leading the hiring process) to thank him for the opportunity and tell him how excited I was. I also mentioned my start date on that email.
So as of now, I have yet to heard back from either the recruiter or Company C. So at this point, I don’t even know if the job offer still stands or what day I would even start. I specified the 10th as my start date. I of course already gave my notice at my current job. I feel that maybe I should start looking again. It’s right before tax season so i feel like I have a good opportunity. I know my employer would love to keep me but I really don’t want to stay here. Even if I stayed, I’m sure they would continue to look for a replacement (which I don’t blame them for). Any advice?
It’s crazy that this company seemed extremely interested and now they haven’t even gotten back to me regarding my start date. Makes me wonder if this is even the type of company i want to work for.

With the holidays and new year and all, lots of people were not in the office.
I'd probably wait a bit more and see what happens.

I bet everything is fine if you accepted within the timeframe. I accepted a job at a pretty big firm and ran into the same thing and was worried. I contacted them and they just don't send anything back until they get all HR stuff worked out and it gets closer to your on boarding process.

Talk to your recruiter. He is your buffer between you and the company. Although, like others have said, firms are slow around Christmas. My firm has been a ghost town the past 2 weeks.

Did anyone mention any pre-hire work in Workday or another HR system that Company C uses? Scour your emails for account set up.
I changed jobs 4 months ago and they required me to complete two HR systems. The first system was for me to electronically sign the offer letter then I had a number of tasks to complete for my background & credit check, fingerprint & FBI search, drug screen, etc. The second system was Workday where I had to upload all my work docs (tax witholdings, legal to work in US, select insurance plans, not insane person, transcripts, etc.). These tasks were required to be completed before my start date.
