I’m going to go to the art museum and sit under the “Blue Guitarist” or some other expressionist piece of art and shed tears of joy and nostalgia for a time in my life when gray hairs weren’t sprouting on my head at a faster rate than the amount of debris from outer space hitting the atmosphere and spontaneously decaying.

Come to think of it, I’ll remember the first time my mother fed me milk and start rolling on the grass like Andy Dufresne in the Shawshank Redemption after he escaped prison.

When I got done with the exams, I started preparing to buy a house, and now have been living in said house for awhile. Pretty good way to celebrate IMO.

I'm in that boat, except I got 20 pounds to lose. Also no cruise 🙁

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

Looks like Mexico won't happen due to funds, but I think we are going to go get a cabin in the woods for a couple of days & read & laze together by the fire! (:

ALSO: Thanksgiving seemed so far away & like an impossible goal at that point. But, HERE I AM. One test left to go & three under my belt & I WILL BE DONE 8 weeks from now (:

After working full-time, going to grad school at night, and studying for the CPA exam for the past three years, my list has gotten quite long, lol. Like others have posted, I will be getting back in shape and losing the 10 pounds I have put on the last few years :-/. I have family and friends that I have just seen sporadically between finals and exams and am looking forward to catching up with. Then I have list of books and TV shows that are waiting to get read/watched. And I will just revel in being able to veg out and not worry about failing my next exam!!

Love this thread. I'm going to get blackout drunk, and then hunker down for the first busy season without that nagging thought of “I should be studying…”. I'm going to get to read books again without feeling guilty, and use my gym membership!

    FAR - 80! ✓

Now that I'm done, I checked “blackout drunk” off my list this past weekend…twice. Next thing I'm doing is finally buying Grand Theft Auto 5 and taking out all of the aggression/stress/anxiety that has built up over the last 18+ months on innocent virtual bystanders and cops just because I can!

Oh yeah, and I'll probably finally spend some time with my wife and 3 kids 🙂

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

    Done!!

I'll spend a whole day watching my favorite show on netflix, read a book, take my dog to the park, and go on all the cave tours I have been dying to go on this summer.

I'm going to jump into studying for my P&C exam as soon as I pass FAR and complete the ethics exam. I'm thinking it'll only take me a week or so to get through all of my study materials and take that exam since I'll still be running on CPA exam adrenaline. After I pass the P&C exam, I'll be studying for and taking the Life & Health exam. And THEN it will be tax season.

So…when I'm done with all forms of studying and tax season is over and things have slowed down a bit in May, I'm taking a nice, week-long vacation. I have a friend who lives in Alaska that I may finally take up on the offer of a place to stay for a trip there that week. 🙂

I do not have my score, but I'm living like I passed.

I slept in, I started house projects, and planning a side business which will start in October. Also planning on a few Saturday bird hunts come October.
