My husband has been an angel and a rock. He is so sweet and patient. I don't know what I did to deserve him honestly. The other night I was venting my frustrations about how wide and deep FAR topics can be and be said “you have to push hard on this section and put this behind us!” It was the “US” that made me smile. He deserves a medal for walking through this with me. 🙂

The support they provide is amazing. I swear that my boyfriend is one if the biggest keys to me passing these! If I lack confidence, I perform terribly, and usually in the week before the exam, he's my only source of confidence… I've tried to think of something creative that “CPA” could stand for to make him a CPA certificate for putting up with all of this…like “Clearly Pure Awesomeness”, but that's lame – I want something better… Maybe I'll come up with something yet!

But yes, Daniella, they might need a place to vent as much as we do!

My boyfriend is an angel too. He surprises me with slices of cheesecake and has taken on most cleaning/cooking duties (although he was doing this even before I was studying, but now I have a legitimate excuse, hehe). There's sometimes friction when he feels like he's doing most of the work, and I do try to help on my study breaks, but overall he's been a great rock to lean on. Especially when I go through my mini-CPA-panic attacks, he's there to cheer me up and boost my confidence. @Elisabeth – I like your idea of a certificate. Maybe I'll make a “Best CPA Supporter” one for him once this Hell is over!

When my dad received his Doctorate, he gave my mom a honorary doctorate “diploma”. I have been thinking about something like this too for my husband. he has been amazing!

I feel for spouses (mine was a hero) but here is not the place for them. People here are tense enough without reading that Mr X is tired of takeout and frozen dinners.
