2 year experience requirement with 23 months at CPA firm

    Hey everyone.

    I registered for the exam in NY back in 2006 an am grandfathered in for the 2 year experience requirement with a Bachelor’s Degree.

    I worked at a CPA firm for 23 months before getting fired ( a little under 2 years…Hired 11/27/06 and Fired 10/31/08) during the great recession. I’m planning to sit for the exam in the next 6 months.

    I know I’m jumping the gun, but I’m wondering if I’ll have trouble getting the two year experience signed off since I don’t have EXACTLY 2 years experience. But, I did go through 2 complete busy seasons. Anybody here know how picky New York is about experience requirements.
