Hi, I am not going to take any tax courses.

Do you think I am going to have a hard time passing REG sections if I don’t have any prior knowledge about Taxation?

I forgot everything I learned in my tax courses, mainly because my instructors made all the exams open book. I also had no work experience in tax. I managed to pass REG, but truth be told, it took A LOT of hard work.

I took one taxation class, but learned NOTHING.

I pretty much learned everything about tax from studying for REG. It's really not that bad, just keep at it!! I used Becker and supplemented with Wiley Testbank!

I passed on my 3rd try, but that was because I didn't study hard enough or skipped chapters the first two times…not because I didn't have tax experience.

    You can TOTALLY do it!!

My answer to about 50% of the questions on my Income Tax final in college was “It Depends”. My professor gave me 1 point each! Don't stress about it.

I took only one class as well and remembered some very basic stuff. Didn't help much.

REG is a pretty brutal exam and it's going to be tough with or without this one taxation class.

If you're taking a review course, it's supposed to each you everything you need to know to pass as if you know nothing about taxes.

Study hard and you'll pass as Roger says.
