I did… just sat yesterday for REG.
It is true they have their own book based on the AICPA's blueprints. You need to print this yourself unfortunately. The content is good as well as the MCQ. There is a bunch of overlap between the questions in NINJA & the MCQ in the book.
The adaptapass software is glitchy. It would freeze often and I would need to refresh my browser. Also I would pause to reinforce what was just said it then resume the video would jump ahead a few minutes. I was never able to resolve this.
The videos would really benefit from editing. Way to often is there a mistake said that could be removed or the count downs to start filming are involved. There are a few videos that are 2 minutes in length which are endings or beginnings of sections… Why couldn't they be added where appropriate?
Personally, I am not a fan of Phil's lectures (who teaches 100% of REG). He has tendencies that really irritate and distract me. This may sound like I am nitpicking but he says “alright” over and over and over and over again mixed in with “now” and “ok”.
I really wish Cindy was the instructor for FAR still…I am not sure I can endure Phil for the majority of FAR. I might use the 2016 FAR on the flash drive if Cindy is the instructor.
I have used Yaeger for BEC & AUD and heavily supplemented with Ninja Notes & MCQ and passed on first try. Hoping this will be enough for REG too.
