Wiley has an extra chapter on property law (not covered by Becker). Is this even on the CPA exam? I’m getting nervous.

If it is the chapter I remember it is not that long. Study it. If it is in the book, a well known book, study it. I can not say for certain but I imagine the info is in Becker maybe not in a separate chapter. I switched to Wiley from CPAExcel and was confused over the property sections. All I can say and would suggest is study it.

I was wondering this same thing. I have notes from someone who used Becker in 2008 that included Property transactions, but there's nothing in the 2012 Becker book on this. Would the NINJA notes and Wiley MCQs be sufficient?

@Jeff I just checked my post to make sure I used the shift key appropriately. 🙂

@MrsBing: I used the Wiley TB and did every single MC question in there and felt that the questions adequately prepared me. Especially if you take the time to read the reasoning behind the right and wrong answers. For my last REG re-take I primarily used the TB and NINJA.

Does NINJA notes have property law? (not just property tax/transactions)

Yes – the NINJA Notes have about 2.5 pages for Property Law covering Real Property, Personal Property, Gifts, and Tenancy

Becker didn't cover property law in their 2013 edition. With that said, I found the content within the ninja notes more than sufficient to gain a working understanding of property law.
