Why are expired adjustment for AGI are still in the updated review from Becker??

    I am starting to study for REG (taking it on July 25) with the Becker self-study review, and Chapter 2 talks about Educator Expenses and Tuition and Fee Deduction. In both topics says: (expired 12/31/13, not yet extended as of the date of this publication)… May this topics show up in the exam??

    P.S. I have the latest version of the review (2014).

    REG: 83 (08/29/14)
    BEC: Nov. 25
    AUD: Not scheduled

    I am wondering the same thing. Hoping someone who knows will answer. Do we need to know the expired 12/31/13 deductions and credits it they were not extended? Taking the test Nov 14 2014

    I specifically asked this and was told no, don't need to know them bc they are not the rules in effect
