I am planning on taking the REG exam end of Feb 2014. Should I be studying 2012 tax law or 2013 tax law?

I just rec’d my copy of Wiley 2014 REG study book, which detail 2013 tax law. Previously, I was studying 2012 tax law in the 2013 Wiley REG book.

The changes are more based on amounts, such as the IRA contribution being $5000 in 2012, and is now $5500 in 2013.

    FAR 82
    BEC 82
    AUD 93
    REG 87

The exam doesn't expect you to know the exact amounts since they're always changing. You'll be given the amount. For other information – new laws, etc – they're testable 6 months after they go into effect.
