My situation: becker expires december and since december is blackout month it expires nov30 for all intents and purposes for me. I have recently taken BEC and I think I passed, that was my first CPA exam experience. Since becker expires, i would like to know which section can i squeeze out of it in a month AUD or REG (FAR is out of the question)?
After Becker expires I plan on ordering the NINJA materials (the ten point combo maybe for each remaining section!)
But while I have access to Becker, I might as well use it for one more test- I will get my NTS after BEC score release Nov4th.
Can I use the remaining AUD book with NINJA materials (or do the chapter not line up? Same question for the REG book and NINJA materials?
Another concern of mine is that I got Becker last year so all the exemptions dont line up with their updated lectures – I assume same thing for inflation adjusted phaseouts. The AUD book from 2014 i think does not have that problem as they havent changed the exam/becker lectures as far as i know.
I work as a staff acountant in a CPA firm doing tax and tax strictly for the past 2 years so i think that pasrt of the exam will be easier for me than the memorization-heavy audit portion.
Sorry for the long post! But this seemingly easy choice of which test to take next gets complicated by the aforementioned factors. Please help experienced NINJA’s!
